Stacy McCrory

Stacy is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice in Santa Barbara, CA, providing guidance and support to individuals, couples and families going through major life transitions. Stacy specializes in grief as a divorce coach, bereavement counselor and death doula, assisting and empowering her clients to do their best to practice compassion for themselves and others, be mindful, maintain healthy boundaries, experience awe and make meaning in their lives.

Stacy expanded her focus, both spiritually and professionally, and pursued more specialized training around grief and loss, becoming a death doula in 2021. She is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s (NHPCO) ‘End-of-Life Doula Council’ where she provides volunteer grief support virtually to clients throughout the United States. At home in Santa Barbara, she and her husband Mike hold community grief rituals at the beach in proud partnership with the acclaimed Waves of Grief Collective.

Stacy is a firm believer in the power of community and interconnectedness. She promotes the healing power of compassion and acts of loving kindness, believing that grace, gratitude and genuine respect can in fact make the world a more loving and peaceful place. She believes her family and friends would tell you she works hard, lives fully, and loves with all her heart.

Stacy either creates or collaborates in the development of all TwoCan Retreats. It is important to note that although Stacy hosts and facilitates retreats for TwoCan Retreats, she is not providing therapy at any time during the retreat.

Also With Michelle Q. Slavik

July 8 - 13, 2025
The Waves of Joy Costa Rica Family Jungle Adventure was created to provide an opportunity to let go and have some fun, strengthen bonds, build resilience and foster community through surfing and water play, wild jungle adventures, and being of service, all while increasing personal resources and making memories that last a lifetime. Recognizing that life is a steady flow of ups and downs, joys and sorrows, wins and losses, and that we’re all in this together, helps us to keep leaning into the world around us, staying present and engaged, and choosing to live life to the fullest.
